OUR PASTORS
Rick & Bobbi Jo Gundberg
Hello! We are so glad you found your way to the AFCN website! My name is Pastor Rick Gundberg, and my Co-Pastor is Bobbi Jo Gundberg, my beautiful wife. We also have a daughter (Jordan) and two sons (Dylan and Ian). Bobbi and I graduated from Nazarene Bible College in Colorado Springs and have pastored together since 2007. Our family now resides in Augusta, Maine and we lead a wonderful, warm group of folks at AFCN. God has asked us to go out and love people wherever they’ve been and wherever they are in life. He has been awesome in our lives and we know God can be your source of love, hope, and victory in your life as well! Augusta First is truly making a difference in our community and we invite you to be a part of a visionary and loving church. Please consider visiting us, and we’ll have the coffee ready for you!
OUR CHURCH
When you arrive you'll find great parking. Need a valet? -no problem! ...we have warm & friendly greeters who will welcome you & help you find your way around. Late night? -we have a coffee bar with the best free coffee & tea and a barista who will bless your socks off.
At 10:15 the worship team will inspire our worship with Spirit-filled music, Scripture-reading & prayer...more inspiring worship music... (it's quite casual, you'll feel right at home in God's Presence)...
And our Pastors Rick and Bobbi Jo will teach from God's Word (bring your Bible!). The worship facility is comfortable, air-conditioned, and filled with God's Presence and lots of really friendly people who love the Lord and will love you.
Babies? -you'll love our excellent nursery (lots of babies...great care-providers!) Kids? The kids will be dismissed from worship to head into Kid's Club or Praisetown (our Junior Churches).
Many of our children's workers are CPR/basic first aid qualified, and all of them have completed background checks.
Come. Check it out. You'll love Augusta First Church...
follow us as we follow Jesus.
